Lester’s Arcade 2.0, the visual overhaul first drop: Hard Money Heroes, Chikun’s Escape and STACKED

The first drop of 2.0

Version 2.0.0 is live. It is the first drop of the visual overhaul: everything that was finished and checked on the overhaul branch ships today, and the rest of the 2.0 work continues in the next update. Here is what you can play right now.

Hard Money Heroes

Chikun’s Escape

Course two is playable as a preview in Free Mode at /play/chikun?course=2. It adds a shield, a magnet, a held-feather glide, fork lanes and seeded chases. Official Ranked verification stays on course one; course two is not a Ranked course yet.

STACKED

The longest legal replay STACKED can produce, 432,000 ticks, is now a committed test fixture, and it verifies inside the 250 ms budget in local testing. Nothing changes in play. It is an assurance that a very long Ranked run will still be checked.

Achievements and rewards

What is coming next

The remaining 2.0 work continues in the next update: final area art for all ten areas, the three new bosses, the six new enemies in play, weapon models on the hero by default, cover and traversal in the simulation, and Chikun course two as an official course.

What has not changed

Free previews are unranked and never publish a score. Ranked still runs on the LitVM LiteForge testnet, and testnet verification is not real-money settlement. Nothing in this drop changes contracts, fees, settlement or the Ranked verification of existing runs.

For the current entry steps, see How Ranked works. To try the new work without a wallet, start a Free run.
